The apartment is located on the fourth floor of a building of the 40s of the last century, in the heart of the Porta Venezia district in Milan. Natural light filters abundantly from the large windows making the spaces bright and highlighting the simple plaster decorations of the ceilings. The intervention was aimed at maintaining as much as possible of the original allure of the apartment, the doors, the parquet floors and the ceilings have been carefully restored without erasing the traces of aging.

A continuous grey resin flooring has been used where, due to need of massive adaptation of installations, it hasn’t been possible to preserve original floors, thus a neutral background connects all the spaces of the apartment. Bespoke solutions, contemporary and vintage furnishings populate the spaces creating a sophisticated dialogue between present and past.
