Casa T

The apartment is an attic in a newly built residential building in Santa Margherita Ligure with a generous loggia overlooking the sea.

The light tones of the sandstone characterize the bright living area while a precious smoked solid oak floor gives elegance to the sleeping area which extends towards the internal area of the property. The key element of the project is a long boiserie with a sinuous profile that fits into the rooms to integrate the accesses to the rooms, hide custom-made furnishings and service spaces, recreate cozy spaces for the area dedicated to the kitchen. The surface in walnut strips with its regular rhythm, together with the burnished brass details, becomes the key element around which the rooms of the apartment develop. The interior of the kitchen is dominated by the dark tones of ebony wood and Emperador Dark marble while a large porthole allows an always clear view towards the sea.

Each of the bathroom environments was designed to be unique with the combination of sandstone with fine marbles such as Emperador Dark and Kenya Black or through the combination of chromatic elements in contrast with the natural texture of walnut wood.
